Base Salary (MPR/UPR): £32,916 – £51,048
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Role

Brightstone Education Partners is supporting a thriving and forward-thinking secondary school in Basingstoke to recruit an enthusiastic and reflective Teacher of Science for September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative Science department within a school that places a strong emphasis on high-quality teaching, staff wellbeing, and student achievement. The role is suitable for both ECTs and experienced teachers looking to develop within a positive and ambitious environment.

The successful candidate will be passionate about Science and committed to inspiring students to become curious, analytical, and confident learners.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4

* Inspire students to develop a passion for Science

* Assess and monitor student progress effectively

* Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement

Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Ability to teach Science across KS3 and KS4

* Strong classroom management and communication skills

* Passion for education and student progress

* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
