About Us
Our school
Storrington Primary School is a vibrant and inclusive school located in the heart of the community. The school grounds and resources are well-developed with a cycle track, forest school area, large treehouse and swimming pool to name a few. Children are encouraged to learn and play outdoors and take full advantage of the school’s resources and surrounding areas of the South Downs. The school is well-supported by an active parents/friends’ group (FOSS).
With a commitment to fostering a safe, happy, and sustainable environment, we pride ourselves on our core values of Responsibility, Kindness, Positivity, Cooperation, Resilience, and Individuality.
Our vision is to ensure that all learners achieve their potential through a rich and diverse curriculum that supports and stretches every pupil, regardless of their starting point. We are dedicated to creating a community of curious and resilient thinkers who value learning and make a positive impact on society.
At Storrington, we champion a student-led approach to celebrating diversity, promoting equality, and driving social responsibility.
Our recent OFSTED inspection rated us as 'Good' across all areas, with 'Outstanding' for Personal Development. We are now looking for passionate and innovative educators to join our dedicated team in driving forward our school improvement priorities, including enhancing curriculum assessment, adaptive teaching, and fostering a culture of reading.
