Duties of the Car Sales Executive
* Sell new and used vehicles across a diverse range of models, from the UK's best‑selling cars to electric vehicles and multi‑seaters
* Promote and sell aftermarket products, accessories, and finance and insurance options to meet and exceed sales targets
* Provide excellent customer service by keeping customers informed about vehicle delivery schedules and handling any delays or queries effectively as a Car Sales Executive
* Collect payments and arrange vehicle handovers, ensuring all warranty and after‑sales arrangements are clearly explained
* Demonstrate vehicle features and introduce customers to after‑sales service teams
* Build long‑lasting relationships with customers to foster repeat business and referrals as a Car Sales Executive
* Keep up‑to‑date with product knowledge and dealership promotions to maximise sales opportunities
* Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to dealership policies and procedures
Requirements
* Proven experience in new/used car sales within a franchise‑approved dealership is preferable
* Strong sales ability and a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
* Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on building relationships
* self‑motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently
* A full UK driving licence with minimal points is essential
* A proactive attitude, high energy levels, and a passion for the motor trade
* Sales or customer service background with a desire for success and career growth
