Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our repairs and installation departments with daily office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to managing administrative tasks. Responsibilities
* Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette, directing enquiries appropriately
* Organise and maintain physical and electronic filing systems for easy retrieval of documents
* Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office and Big Change.
* Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations as required
* Schedule appointments, meetings, and coordinate calendars for team members
* Assist with invoicing, billing, and basic bookkeeping procedures
* Support the team with general administrative duties including photocopying, scanning, and mailing
* Ensure the office environment remains tidy and well-stocked with necessary supplies
* Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Experience
* Previous office experience or administrative experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Excellent typing speed and accuracy for data entry tasks
* Good communication skills, including phone etiquette and written correspondence
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
