AVRCE Spare Cafeteria Worker (Annapolis, Kings, Hants County) - January 2025
Position: Spare Cafeteria Worker
Locations: Annapolis County, Kings County, Hants County
Hours of Work: As needed basis
Rate of Pay: As per CUPE Collective Agreement
Under the direction of the Principal and School Food Facilitator, the successful candidate will perform a variety of cafeteria duties.
Qualifications and Abilities:
* The ability to perform physical duties.
* Experience in food preparation and menu planning.
* Organized with clean work habits.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Safe Food Handling Course is an asset.
Responsibilities:
1. Cooking, baking, and food preparation.
2. Selling canteen items during recess and lunch.
3. Kitchen duties such as stocking shelves and cleaning dishes.
4. Supporting the school recycling program, managing daily accounts, inventory, and cashier duties as required.
