Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to join our supportive secondary schools in Daventry.
In this role, you will provide essential classroom support to students who may need additional help. This could include 1:1 support, small group interventions in core subjects, or assistance with emotional and social development. You’ll work closely with teachers to create engaging learning resources and ensure that every student can fully participate in lessons.

Key Responsibilities
* Work alongside teaching staff to support learning and provide additional explanation or clarification where needed.
* Promote the safeguarding and welfare of all students at all times.
* Support students to identify, meet, and exceed their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets.
* Implement and encourage positive behaviour strategies, adapting your approach to meet individual needs.
* Accurately record and report all accidents, incidents, and health & safety matters in line with school policies.
* Support students in group activities, encouraging positive social interactions and friendships.

* The ability to meet the physical demands of the role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
