Asses, plan, implement, and evaluate care as an autonomous practitioner with specialist skills beyond those of a general nurse. This includes providing care through nurse-led clinics according to clinical need.
Deliver a wide variety of treatments to patients with dermatological conditions following best practice guidance.
Manage a caseload of adults and children requiring phototherapy treatments for various skin conditions, with support from Dermatology consultants, and maintain accurate clinical records.
Improve and maintain standards of care in Dermatology using research-based evidence from nursing and medical journals.
Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and your own practice to ensure high standards are met.
Support, encourage, and advise patients, carers, and clinical teams in both primary and secondary care by providing specialist knowledge within your skills and knowledge in the clinical area.
Act as a patient advocate to enable informed decisions regarding care, treatment plans, and self-care options.
Provide safe, accurate, and comprehensive monitoring of patients on immunosuppressant therapies and biologic agents to minimize adverse effects.
We seek a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and driven individual to join our Dermatology Team. The ideal candidate should have experience at a Band 5 level or above. Dermatology experience is desirable but not essential.
