Are you a strategic and motivated sales leader ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking an experienced and driven State Sales Manager to lead our high-performing VIC & TAS Sales team. Based in Melbourne, this pivotal role is responsible for delivering sales growth, boosting profitability, and maximising market penetration across multiple sectors.
Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, you’ll lead a team of seasoned professionals and play a key role in shaping and executing our regional sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities
As State Sales Manager, you will:
Lead, coach, and develop a results-driven sales team across Victoria and Tasmania
Ensure exceptional customer service and client engagement
Cultivate strong business relationships with key stakeholders and partners
Strengthen relationships and performance with distribution partners
Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities across Domestic, Commercial, Industrial, Mining, Data, and Hazardous markets
Manage key accounts, including electrical wholesalers, contractors, consultants, specifiers, and end users
Contribute to broader company strategy and ensure its successful regional implementation
About You
You’re a proactive leader with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for delivering results. To succeed in this role, you will have:
Electrical trade or tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
A tertiary qualification in Business or a related discipline (preferred)
Demonstrated success in sales leadership within a technical or electrical environment
A proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills
High emotional intelligence, with experience managing diverse teams
Proficiency with CRM systems and general intermediate computer skills
Willingness and ability to travel regularly within VIC, TAS, and interstate
A current and valid Driver's License
