Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on Project Engineer with a strong background in manufacturing, process development, and continuous improvement—ideally with experience in polyurethane-based processes. Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support manufacturing projects from concept through to implementation.
* Develop and optimize production processes, with a focus on polyurethane systems.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, and Production.
* Troubleshoot technical issues and provide engineering support on the shop floor.
* Drive cost reduction initiatives through lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
* Prepare technical documentation, project reports, and process validation protocols.
What We’re Looking For
* Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
* Proven experience in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
* Strong background in process development and improvement.
* Experience working with polyurethane materials or systems is highly desirable.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
* Strong communication and project management abilities.

This role is ideal for an engineer looking to build strong manufacturing and project experience rather than focus purely on design.
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000
Location: On-site (UK)
Contract: Permanent (contract engineers also considered)
