You will be supporting pupils on a one-to-one and small group basis, including children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Key Responsibilities: Classroom Support: Work closely with the class teacher to support, motivate, and engage pupils in their learning. 1:1 & Small Group Support: Provide targeted one-to-one and small group intervention, particularly for pupils with SEN. Student Development: Help pupils develop confidence, resilience, and self-esteem in a safe and supportive environment. Learning Strategies: Use active listening and tailored learning strategies to support progress and individual development. The successful Teaching Assistant will have: Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant. Confidence supporting children with SEN on a one-to-one basis. Basic knowledge of child development and learning support strategies. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. A caring, empathetic, and proactive attitude.
