Airworthiness Officer – Cheshire – Permanent (37 hours per week) – £40,000 - £60,000 – SC Clearance or willing to undergo
Our client are looking for an Airworthiness Officer to join their small team to manage the aircraft certification process on civil or defence aircrafts. (But mainly civil aircrafts).
You will be joining a team of four Airworthiness Officers to ensure designs are updated and in accordance to airworthiness procedures and provide regular reports to the Head of Airworthiness.
You will need civil or defence aircraft experience for this role.
Working Patterns: 2 - 3 Days per week on site in Broughton. 9 day fortnight working with Friday home working.
The Key Responsibilities of an Airworthiness Officer:
* Implement and manage certification compliance plans.
* Advise on airworthiness protection plans and ensure environmental protection too.
* Support major and minor classification processes and plans.
* Support preparation and modify repair data sheets.
* Ensure designs are accurate and updated to new specifications and requirements.
* Provide detailed reports to the Head of Airworthiness.
* Manage and prepare flight test permits.
* Prepare and manage data packs and liaise with compliance verification Engineers and other relevant stakeholders.
* Manage certification programmes and ensure tracking of compliance documents.
Below is a list of Key Skills required for the Airworthiness Officer, however you will not be expected to have everything:
* Aerospace design background, ideally in an airworthiness/regulatory related environment.
* Membership of a Professional body is desirable.
* Exceptional communication with relevant stakeholders.
