Responsibilities
* A Communications professional who is responsible and accountable to the Director of Communications and the Director of Facilities Management.
* They are responsible for handling all types of calls and emergencies throughout the hospital, as well as knowing the use of all communications equipment (switchboards) and specialized equipment, i.e. TTY (for hearing impaired).

Salary
The compensation range for the role is $17.94-$18.47 hourly. Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member’s compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
Qualifications
* Minimum Education: High School Diploma
* Minimum Experience: One year experience preferred.
* Required Certification/Registration: None
* Physical Requirements: Requires 80% sitting and 20% standing or walking. Occasional bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and reaching is required.
