As a P6 Senior Planner, you will need to demonstrate through both experience and qualifications the depth of knowledge, including Primavera P6, for complete planning capability. Maintaining the Business Integrated Master Schedule. Role involves, task management of the team and communication to stakeholders, of planning information. We need the following experience: Leadership, performance management and coaching experience is key as it is an integral part of this role. Significant and demonstrable competence with P6 A typical day could look like this: Managing the planning team’s performance proactively. Addressing and challenging capability gaps. Providing planning expertise to internal customers within supported projects. Implementing planning processes, policies, and procedures within supported projects. Producing planning and EV deliverables in accordance with the agreed business rhythm within projects. Delivering long-range operational integrated programme planning activities. Supporting the Business Management Manager with emergent projects as directed by the Business Controller. Developing and maintaining relationships with and awareness of key project stakeholders. Key Responsibilities for a C1 Planner: Managing the planning team’s development, leading by example, and committing to coaching and mentoring to bring out the best in them. Delivering Project Controls Planning and EVM expertise and analysis for projects, producing accurate and timely schedule forecast information to enable business decision-making. Ensuring quality of EV variance analysis for schedule performance (SPI). Supporting the development and continuous improvement of the end-to-end planning processes and the producing and maintaining of associated policies, procedures, and guidelines. Supporting the delivery of planning tools and EVMS, templates, and training to internal customers. Reviewing project WBS and recommending changes to the Project’s Control Manager.
