Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire
Pay Rate: £13 – £14 per hour

About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Room Leader / Senior Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive early years setting in Banbury. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to lead a team, support children’s development, and create a positive and engaging learning environment.
You will play a key role in ensuring high standards of care and education while helping children thrive in a safe, nurturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities
Support and supervise team members, encouraging development and teamwork
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children
Provide high-quality care, including personal care and daily routines
Monitor and record children’s progress, sharing updates with parents
Maintain high standards of health, safety, cleanliness, and safeguarding
Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals
What We’re Looking For
Full and relevant Early Years / Childcare qualification
Previous experience in a Room Leader or senior role (preferred)
Good English and Maths (Grade 4/C or equivalent)
Paediatric First Aid (desirable)
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
Strong communication and leadership skills
Willingness to undertake ongoing training and development
