We have a fantastic opportunity to join the engineering team at our clients busy distribution centre that is based in Wakefield.
Supporting the wider engineering team you will be predominantly responsible for the schedule of planned maintenance of high volume picking machinery and ensuring all maintenance of service document are kept up to date.
In this role you will be required to assist with managing external contractors and coach and mentor the more Junior engineers on site.
This is a physically demanding role and you will need to be confident working at height for which full training will be provided.
Ideally you will have experience working in a Distribution Centre but not essential
Key responsibilities for a Maintenance Technician
1. Electrical fault finding and PPM Schedule
2. Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
3. Strong Attention to detail
4. CMMS use
5. Adhere to Health & Safety Guidelines
6. Willing to learn and adapt to role requirements.
