Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will specialise in resolving complex commercial disputes through negotiation, litigation, and alternative dispute resolution methods. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile cases within a reputable firm, providing strategic legal advice and representation to a diverse client portfolio. The position is paid and suitable for candidates eager to develop their expertise in commercial law and dispute resolution.
Duties
* Advise clients on their best legal options, always prioritising their business, personal and commercial interests.
* Handle high-value disputes, including contractual, shareholder, and director disputes.
* Protect businesses from risk, tackling commercial property litigation and business protection cases (e.g. breach of restrictive covenants, springboard injunctions).
* Draft clear, persuasive legal arguments that strengthen our clients’ position.
* Represent clients in court and instruct Counsel when litigation is unavoidable.
* Strengthen relationships and expand our client base through networking and business development.
Skills
* Hands on experience in dispute resolution / litigation. We’d love to hear from all levels of PQE.
* A client-first approach, ensuring businesses and individuals feel heard, supported and in control of their dispute.
* Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commercial mindset.
* Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities to deliver the best outcomes
* A* keen eye for detail* and the ability to craft persuasive legal arguments
