Orthopaedic and Trauma Theatre Team Leader

In this role, you will work closely with the Theatre Manager on both the management and development of our team. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Leading and supporting the orthopaedics and trauma team to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
2. Collaborating with the Theatre Manager to implement and maintain best practices.
3. Overseeing the day-to-day operations within the orthopaedics and trauma department.
4. Providing mentorship and guidance to team members to foster professional growth and development.

Additional Responsibilities:
* Oversee the efficient management and coordination of the Trauma and Orthopaedics theatre, ensuring high-quality patient care and service delivery.
* Provide strong professional leadership to enhance quality of care and staff morale.
* Serve as a role model to foster a blame-free culture and promote teamwork.
* Participate in the 24-hour operational management of the Main Theatre unit.
* Communicate daily with the Floor Person and Floor Consultants to ensure smooth workflow.
* Identify business continuity challenges and implement solutions with support.
* Ensure adequate staffing for theatre lists and escalate concerns as needed.
* Advise on resource requirements and operate within budget constraints.
* Maintain high standards of clinical care, ensuring patient and staff safety.
