About the Role
The Service Administrator will work as part of an administrative team, to support the delivery of a high-quality administration service, a positive patient experience and the highest levels of customer service to the Exeter Mobility Centre – Wheelchair Service.
* Provide an effective and efficient administrative service to the Exeter Mobility Centre team.
* Manage and maintain accurate appointment and clinic systems, ensuring data is entered correctly and on time.
* Plan the repair and delivery of mobility equipment when required.
* Process referrals, orders, invoices, and post-clinic documentation promptly and accurately.
* Maintain up-to-date and organised filing systems, both paper-based and electronic.
* Communicate courteously and professionally with patients, clinical staff, and external organisations.
* Provide cover and support for other administrators during periods of leave.
* Support service improvement projects and contribute ideas for better ways of working.
* To provide a good quality professional administration service
* To provide support/cover to other administrators within the team.
* Specifically, this post will work with colleagues and the team leader to ensure that they provide a professional, efficient, accurate and timely service.
This is a fixed term contract until 01/07/2027. For current NHS employees this post could be a secondment opportunity.
