Fife Coast and Countryside Trust (FCCT) are seeking a Maintenance Lead Operative to join our dynamic and effective Operations Team. About the role: FCCT are looking for a Maintenance Lead Operative to predominantly plan, co-ordinate, carry out and supervise maintenance tasks on Multiple NHS sites (Fife wide) and other sites managed by FCCT. About you: We are looking for an adaptable and motivational individual to join our team. You will bring with you the following skills and experience: At least 24 months experience of working in a countryside / estate worker / landscaping role Certification in at least 2 of the following: Chainsaw, Brush cutter, digger, dumper, roller, pesticide application, woodchipper, tractor driving, large trailer towing, ATV’s, off-road driving, welding Computer skills of a standard capable of producing sound information/management reports A good understanding of Health & Safety at work A current First Aid certificate Experience in a supervisory role, showing an ability to guide and motivate others Able to develop and maintain good working relationships with a wide range of people Good organisational skills demonstrating the ability to prioritise workloads and co-ordinate resources Willingness to undergo training in any of the required certificates or those deemed essential to the requirements of the role Enthusiasm for the role and flexibility to meet changing needs Adaptable and motivational team worker Driving Licence Flexible mindset About FCCT: Fife Coast & Countryside Trust are an organisation driven by a passion for Fife and are committed to developing and delivering high quality, impact-led projects for the benefit of people and nature.
