We have an exciting opportunity to join our Commercial Team/Strategic Construction Partnership projects team in the role of Quantity Surveyor.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Commercial team by carrying out financial management and performance reporting of our Strategic Construction Partners and in‑house maintenance teams.
* Support the management of the Strategic Construction Partnerships through open‑book cost management, providing cost plans, target costs, bills of quantities, schedules of work and task orders.
* Maximise value for money in the services provided by our in‑house teams by providing accurate job costing, forecasting, and maximising income.
* Provide robust commercial management of operational overheads.
* Support the procurement of contractors and suppliers ensuring financial appraisals are undertaken and schedules of rates are appropriate to ensure value for money.
About you
* Do you have a degree in Quantity Surveying or other construction related discipline?
* Have you managed or reviewed operations of in‑house maintenance organisations?
* Can you undertake robust financial and performance appraisals of in‑house maintenance organisations?
* Do you have experience of procuring works and, or material supply contracts?
