Optometrist
Specsavers in Maidstone are looking for an ambitious Optometrist to join their highly successful and well-established team on a full or part time basis. Whether you are newly qualified or have years of experience, we are seeking someone who is passionate about the industry and the development of their career both clinically and professionally.
When you join our store, you’ll work in a brand‑new state‑of‑the‑art facility that recently completed a refurbishment in October 2023. The location boasts 14 optical test rooms and 2 hearing assessment rooms, all fully equipped with the newest clinical technology, including two OCTS, Nidek phoropters in every room, and a Zeiss Clarus ultra‑widefield camera. You will be part of a committed and loyal team of 75 highly skilled optical professionals, including Contact Lens Opticians, Dispensing Opticians, trained Optical Assistants, and Clinical Technicians, enabling you to focus on delivering excellent patient care.
We provide outstanding opportunities for clinical and professional development. Directors encourage advancement and will support you in obtaining 100 % coverage for Professional Certificates in Glaucoma, Medical Retina, and IP. In addition, you can work across our sister store in Larkfield Sainsbury’s, sharing duties between two locations if desired.
