As a senior Early Help Worker, you’ll manage and guide Early Help Workers in their day-to-day practice, ensuring timely, high-quality evidence based interventions that build resilience and prevent issues from escalating. You’ll provide supervision, mentoring, and professional development—while working closely with social workers teams, schools, health services, and community partners to deliver a coordinated approach to family support. We’re looking for someone with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of early intervention, and a passion for empowering both families and colleagues and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
What We're Looking For;
A professional qualification in youth work (JNC Recognised) or Social Work
Diploma/ Qualification in Careers Guidance or Level 4 in Guidance
Diploma or equivalent level 4 qualification in relevant subject for working with children, young people and families
Two years post-qualification experience
An understanding of the importance of good people management, as well as experience supporting, guiding and mentoring others
Knowledge/ understanding of child development, adolescent risk-taking behaviour and trauma-informed approaches
Collaborative, committed and motivated, you're a leader who enjoys working with a diverse range of people
The post holders will be required to travel and work in a timely and flexible manner to undertake the duties of the role. The successful candidate will be committed to their own continued professional development and support wider practice development being part of a team which strives to provide services which make a difference to children and families.
There is an expectation that you will work both within the office and from home virtually as required.
