Posts
* Full‑time (37.5 hours per week) covering South and Mid Pembrokeshire.
* Part‑time (18.75 hours per week) covering North Pembrokeshire.
About the role
This post supports progression to the Specialist Community Public Health Nursing Qualification. You will work as part of a skill‑mix team with the Health Visiting Team and support delivery of the Healthy Child Wales Programme for children 0‑5 years. Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering health promotion advice and facilitating healthy baby clinics.
* Completing delegated developmental assessments.
* Participating in training to support further learning.
* Working collaboratively with other disciplines and agencies to improve the health and well‑being of individuals, families and communities.
* Delivering components of the Health Visiting Core programmes to families with pre‑school children, as delegated by the Health Visitor.
* Assessing health needs and developing, implementing, and evaluating programmes of care for children and families.
Qualifications and Skills
* Registered Children Nurse Qualification or Adult Registered Nurse Qualification.
* Commitment to high standards of care and professional working relationships.
* Strong team‑working and positive attitude.
* Willingness and ability to travel between sites in a timely manner.
* Welsh language skills desirable; English or Welsh speakers are equally welcome.
