Job Introduction

Are you an experienced Account Manager who thrives on building brands, developing strong customer relationships and delivering outstanding results? This home-based Business Account Manager role offers a fantastic opportunity to work alongside the internal virtual team to deliver the annual commercial budget and improve share of WG&S brands with one of our most strategic and important UK Route to Market Customers (Booker). Main Responsibility

1. Deliver Booker’s commercial budget within channel strategy to fast track the WG&S business and deliver sales, contribution and share growth in line with 5YP and budget ambitions.
2. Responsible for creating the convenience strategy for the total WG&S UK business, including managing the full pmp strategy annually with the virtual team (marketing, category, finance, NRM, supply chain and customer marketing)
3. Accountable for managing the Partnerships channel relationship with our key agency partner – De Kuyper.
4. Execute pack and price strategies that optimise share growth within their RTC target customers
5. Ensure all trade investments are supported with clear objectives and appropriate conditions, enabling clear measurement and evaluation of investments to help improve ROI ongoing.
6. Own JBPs and Customer Account Plans that ensure agreements are clearly documented for both parties and successfully manage the annual Booker / WG&S Brand Planning day.
7. Manage customer compliance to agreements, through regular reviews and interventions where required.
8. Deliver brand activation standards in the account supported by Customer Marketing and Brand teams.
9. Accountable for implementing rigorous operational standards and controls on forecasting and company spend to deliver within budgeted targets (e.g. Forecast Accuracy/Bias, Pricing, CD’s, T&E, Overheads, P-spend)
10. Develop and sustain/improve customer engagement with trade partners and key contacts.
11. Proactive member of the channel team – driving for company values on engagement, performance and development (incl. commitment to commercial competency development)

Our Ideal Candidate

12. Extensive understanding the UK Drinks Market and at least 5 years experience across the key channels of trade - Route to Market, Retail / Convenience and On-Trade
13. Will have an understanding of IFS10, Hyperion and Smartview
14. An experienced sale professional, with a high level of commercial experience understanding all Profit & Loss responsibilities.
15. Commercially focused, with analytical & strong problem solving skills; with the ability to identify and optimise commercial opportunities.
16. Effective budget management skills, with high executional standards and attention to detail.
17. Ability to be adaptable and manage a demanding workload with a wide portfolio of accounts, prioritising effectively.
18. Creative with an entrepreneurial spirit; to be someone who can effect positive change.
