The Team:
KPMG's Risk Consulting group uses a variety of technical and sector-specific skills to help clients increase profits while reducing various risks. Our expertise includes managing issues like fraud, compliance, risk frameworks, corporate governance, and more.
Technology Risk Consulting (TRC) is a rapidly growing department with about 200+ professionals, including a significant presence in London. Our clients include BP, Booking.com, HSBC, LSEG, HMRC, and NHS. Our engagements often have an international scope, requiring collaboration across KPMG offices worldwide.
Our services include assurance and transformation activities such as IT and ERP controls, GRC operating models, IT Security, control automation, SOX 404 frameworks, and project assurance.
The successful candidate will engage in client-facing activities and build relationships across our client base.
Description of the role:
This role focuses on expanding our Oracle offerings within the ERP & Business Systems team, including services like assurance, controls transformation, and process optimization. Responsibilities include delivering Oracle services, developing new business, and maintaining client relationships at senior levels.
Key activities include:
* Ensuring quality, value, and timely delivery of client engagements
* Managing scope, finances, risks, and deliverables
* Building and maintaining client relationships at CIO/CFO levels
* Identifying and pursuing business development opportunities
* Coaching team members and promoting team development
Responsibilities include:
* Driving sales activities, including responding to RFPs and proposals
* Leading multiple Oracle assurance and advisory projects
* Overseeing project scope, finances, and deliverables
* Expanding Oracle services across sectors and developing internal networks
* Innovating in Oracle, GRC, and analytics technologies to keep KPMG's offerings market-leading
The Person:
Required experience includes:
* Oracle business analysis and understanding of core financial processes
* Experience with ERP systems like SAP and Oracle, including Oracle GRC and Financials
* Familiarity with Oracle Release 12 and Fusion
* Data analysis tools and industry technology platforms knowledge
* Strong communication, relationship-building, and project delivery skills
Soft skills include:
* Proven sales and business development experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to present to large groups and explain technical data accessibly
* Teamwork, initiative, and adaptability to new technologies
Qualifications:
* Proven consulting experience in Oracle implementations
* Masters or MBA degree
* Experience in Big 4 or similar professional services environment
* Significant industry or consulting experience
