Overview
An exciting opportunity for a committed Senior Care Assistant to work in a well-regarded care home in Leyland, Lancashire. The role is with one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers and involves delivering high-quality residential care in a countryside setting.
Responsibilities
* Manage the care team within the Home.
* Ensure care staff adhere to CQC guidelines while delivering exceptional care to residents.
* Promote and deliver high standards of care and provide supervision.
* Instruct less experienced staff to enable full contribution to the care provided within the Home.
Qualifications & Skills
* NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care is required to be considered.
* Excellent communication and written skills.
* Previous experience in an elderly care setting.
* Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised.
* Team player with the ability to work on your own initiative.
* Dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the Home.
* Previous supervisory experience in a care/nursing home setting and experience of working with the elderly.

* Salary: GBP 14.00 per hour (annual salary ≈ GBP 24,024) for a permanent full-time role of 33 hours per week, night shifts.
