Architect Job in Bristol

Working with public bodies, charities, trusts, private companies, contractors, developers, and individuals, this practice has been involved in the care and development of some of the best-loved buildings and places in the UK and abroad. The practice provides sensitive restoration and repair schemes and modern design in historic contexts. Their bold and contemporary designs are spread across a variety of sectors including cultural, master planning, education, ecclesiastical, public, hospitality, residential, and many more.
Due to project requirements, they require a Revit skilled Architect to join the team on a 6 month fixed term contract.
Role & Responsibilities
Lead the project with a focus in stage 4 onwards
Manage project teams to meet deadlines and deliverables.
Utilize technical expertise in design development and construction coordination.
Proficiently use software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Photoshop.
Implement BIM Level 2 standards in project delivery.
Maintain awareness of sustainability standards.
Apply strategic thinking to address project challenges.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Organize project resources efficiently.
Delegate tasks within project teams.
Ensure high-quality project deliverables.
Required Skills & Experience
Part 3 qualification with a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Project Architect in a UK-based practice.
Track record of delivering projects across all RIBA stages and varying construction values.
Direct involvement in complex refurbishment projects.
Proficiency in delivering projects using Revit.
Technical expertise in RIBA Stages 3 & 4, with on-site experience in Stage 5.
Experience managing teams to meet demanding project timelines.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD for 2D drafting, Sketchup for 3D modeling, and Photoshop or similar graphic presentation software.
Familiarity with BIM Level 2.
Awareness of Passivhaus and current BREEAM standards.
Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret briefs successfully.
Strategic and conceptual thinking, adept at problem-solving.
Clear and effective communication skills across all levels, internally and externally.
Delegation capabilities to effectively distribute tasks within the team.
