TeacherActive is currently recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic team; they will be working in Primary Schools in Neath. The role will be working in Key Stage 1 for the full academic year. We’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
* Supporting class teachers with learning activities
* Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who need extra support
* Helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
* Assisting with classroom organisation and behaviour management
* Encouraging the development of social and emotional skills
Qualifications
* Previous experience working with children (in schools, clubs, nurseries or similar)
* A caring, patient and proactive approach
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
* A passion for helping young learners succeed
* A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2 or 3) is desirable but not essential—your enthusiasm and commitment matter most
