Overview
We are seeking to appointment an Admin Officer to support our school Sixth Form Monday to Friday. The successful applicant will work under the supervision of a senior Administrative Officer, and work closely with the Head of Sixth Form. Duties and responsibilities will be varied, and will include significant amounts of time using a computer. A key responsibility will be handling Sixth Form student attendance, and therefore the role will involve significant contact with students.
Responsibilities
* Handle Sixth Form student attendance and related administration.
* Work under the supervision of a senior Administrative Officer and in close collaboration with the Head of Sixth Form.
* Carry out varied duties with significant computer use.
* Prioritise tasks, manage workload flexibly, and organise work effectively.
* Communicate professionally with colleagues, students and external professionals.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Flexible approach to workload, prioritisation and organisation.
* Approachable with ability to adapt communication style for a professional interaction with colleagues, students and external professionals.
* Experience in a school office environment would be beneficial.
