Responsibilities
• Teach Sociology across KS3, KS4, and KS5, encouraging discussion and independent research
• Support students in developing analytical and evaluative skills through coursework and case studies
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Sociology exams, ensuring high standards of marking and moderation
• Work collaboratively to enhance the Sociology curriculum with contemporary case studies and global perspectives
• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as Sociology clubs and research projects
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Sociology or a related subject
• PGCE or QTS
• Experience teaching Sociology up to KS5
