An inspiring and forward-thinking independent school in Bristol is looking to appoint a Design & Technology Teacher from September 2025. This is a unique opportunity to teach in one of Bristol's most prestigious schools, known for its commitment to innovation and design thinking.
You will be teaching across KS3–KS5, specialising in Product Design and/or Resistant Materials. The school has invested heavily in its DT facilities, including a CAD suite, laser cutting, CNC machines, and a materials lab. DT is a popular subject at A-Level, with students regularly entering national competitions and engineering challenges.
You will be expected to support students in coursework, manage practical sessions, and play a key role in the co-curricular life of the department.
Experience and Qualifications
• Product Design or Engineering degree and QTS
• Strong workshop and CAD/CAM experience
• Commitment to hands-on, project-based teaching
• Ability to support and inspire able learners
