The Role
This role drives mission‑critical Trade Surveillance initiatives for a leading German bank, ensuring regulatory compliance by delivering robust alerting, investigation, and escalation capabilities across trading activities. The candidate will work hands‑on with a cutting‑edge, cloud‑native tech stack (Java microservices, React/Angular, GCP, Spark, Python), influencing both business outcomes and modern engineering practices at scale.
Your responsibilities:
* Own end‑to‑end delivery for an Agile scrum team, ensuring commitments are met for every sprint and release.
* Engage with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document functional and non‑functional requirements.
* Create high‑quality functional and technical JIRA Epics, Features, and Stories aligned to business outcomes.
* Prioritize and maintain the product backlog in agreement with business stakeholders and delivery constraints.
* Plan iterations/sprints with the scrum team, ensuring clarity of scope, acceptance criteria, and dependencies.
* Track sprint execution, proactively manage risks, and resolve functional and technical delivery impediments.
* Perform solution validation and support business users through UAT, defect resolution, and sign‑offs.
* Drive production release preparation and execution with Dev, DevOps, System, and RTB teams.
* Lead issue triage activities with System, RTB, and Scrum teams; prioritize fixes and ensure timely resolution.
* Perform data analysis and validation to onboard data from multiple sources while ensuring data quality and NFR adherence.
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
* Strong hands‑on experience delivering Agile/Scrum projects in enterprise environments.
* Proven expertise in business requirements gathering and translating them into technical deliverables.
* Solid experience creating and managing JIRA stories, epics, workflows, and backlogs.
* Strong understanding of Java‑based application architectures and modern enterprise systems.
* Experience working closely with development, system integration, DevOps, and RTB/support teams.
* Hands‑on exposure to data analysis, data onboarding, reconciliation, and data quality controls.
* Experience handling UAT coordination, release management, and production deployments.
* Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to perform issue triage and root‑cause analysis.
* Excellent stakeholder communication skills across business, technology, and operations teams.
* Banking or financial services domain experience, preferably within Trade, Payments, or Core Banking platforms.
* Contribute in solution architecture with the customer.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
* Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
* Understanding of Trade Finance domain workflows and data models
* Experience working in regulated / compliance‑driven environments
