Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web Frontend Engineer, specialising in frontend architecture, to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a scalable, high‑performance web application that delivers exceptional user experiences. Your expertise in React.js, state management with MobX, and frontend performance optimisation will be crucial in building applications that cater to millions of users.


Compensation

80k€‑100k€* + Stock‑Options/BSPCE


Location

Remote across Europe with monthly Paris office visits (fully reimbursed)


About the Role

* Architect and develop a scalable and high‑performing web application using React.js, TypeScript.
* Manage application state with MobX, ensuring responsive and efficient UIs.
* Own end‑to‑end work: collaborate with cross‑functional teams, implement design specs, plan workloads, communicate risks, analyse product design complexity.
* Optimize web application performance, focusing on rendering speed and runtime efficiency.
* Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and best practices, integrating them into projects.
* Work within a small multicultural team of ~80 passionate, friendly & committed folks.


About You

* Proven experience architecting and developing large‑scale web applications, such as SaaS platforms scaled to millions of users and/or multiple developers.
* In‑depth knowledge of React.js and strong understanding of component‑based architecture.
* Expertise with state management using MobX or solid knowledge of the observer pattern.
* Good communication skills: able to reach relevant stakeholders, gather information, showcase work.
* Autonomous, pragmatic, favours speed of iteration over perfection; believes fast iteration is the best learning method.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to break complex technical challenges into smaller ones and deliver them.
