Up to £35,500 depending on experience
Hours
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Holiday
23 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) increasing by one day per year of service (up to a maximum of 5 days)
About the Bookkeeper role
We are TC Group, the fastest-growing top 20 accountancy firm in the UK. We are business advisors and accountants with over 30 years of experience, providing bespoke support and advice to ambitious business owners.
You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and will be attending client visits to carry out bookkeeping services in our Boston Office.
Key responsibilities
* Attending client premises to undertake bookkeeping on‑site
* Bank reconciliations
* Posting transactions
* Reconciling sales and purchase ledgers
* Keeping Sage and Xero up to date
* Dealing with client queries as and when they arise
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years previous bookkeeping experience, preferably within an accountancy practice
* AAT qualified
* Understanding of agriculture accounts is advantageous
* Experience in using Sage and Xero is preferred
* Ability to manage own tasks, good time management and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
* Enthusiastic and motivated team player with a "can do" attitude
* Passionate about great service in order to provide a high level of client care
* Presents themselves in a professional manner during client interactions
