Working hours: 06:00 – 14:00, 14:00 – 22:00, 22:00 – 06:00. 40 hours per week, on a 5/6 rota. £16.56 per hour plus excellent benefits.

Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate your team of skilled service delivery crews and Team Leaders, coaching and developing those who need further support.
* Ensure efficient fleet utilisation, resource planning and cost control while maintaining compliance and effectiveness of the operation.
* Take the lead for legal compliance and safety.
* Identify opportunities for improved efficiencies within the Transport function and implement changes where needed.
* Manage resourcing, development, and management of all colleagues within your team, ensuring service delivery crews are fully trained across all areas (in particular driver CPC, service delivery standards, and product installation).
* Make prompt decisions that protect customer service and the delivery schedule, while remaining commercially focused.
* On-site resource management (colleagues, vehicles and equipment) to meet and flex to customers’ changing needs.
The Ideal Candidate
With the number of applications expected for this position, we will only proceed forward with candidates who match our essential requirements:
* At least 2 years of experience as a Leader / Supervisor within a transport operation.
* Good knowledge of Road Transport Regulations and hold a national CPC.
* Ensure that O Licence requirements are adhered to.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Demonstrable experience improving transport operations and introducing operational excellence.
* Strong people skills and the ability to influence, coach and develop.
* Able to work in an ever-changing environment with the additional pressure to deliver on time every day.
