Role Overview
Design Manager – MEP (3‑month contract) supporting a major infrastructure project in Snowdonia. Responsibility is to take ownership of MEP design delivery, coordinate interfaces and ensure that technical documentation progresses to programme.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage MEP design output and lead design coordination.
• Oversee integration of Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (MEICA), High Voltage and Protection & Control design packages.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, suppliers, consultants and the client, ensuring all design stages meet standards and approval requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
* MEP or MEICA design management background.
* Experience managing and reviewing multidisciplinary design deliverables.
* Ability to integrate MEICA, HV and Protection & Control designs into a coordinated solution.
* Strong familiarity with design reviews, approvals, TQs and documentation flow.
* Experience working with BIM/CAD and design control systems.
* Able to challenge quality and ensure output meets specification and contract requirements.
* Clear communication with confidence, leading coordination and technical discussions.
Contract Details
• 3‑month contract.
• Snowdonia based.
• £400 Umbrella PAYE.
