The post holder will be the dietetic lead for the tertiary paediatric nephrology service based at the Noah's Ark Children's Hospital for Wales. They will autonomously manage a complex inpatient and outpatient caseload of patients within the paediatric nephrology service.
Responsibilities include caring for children with acute and chronic renal failure, including those with end‑stage renal failure requiring renal replacement therapies such as dialysis and transplant. Dietary therapy is integral to the treatment plan and the dietitian works as a core member of the multi‑disciplinary team.
Comprehensive training and supervision will be provided. The position is 0.6 WTE, with the potential for additional hours.
