Encocam are recruiting for a new Hygiene Team Memberin Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
We manufacture precision made parts from various materials used for internal and external Customers. We specialise in small batches and prototypes.
Key responsibilities and tasks
· To work to a high standard of cleanliness ensuring that key areas inside the buildings are cleaned daily.
· Be responsible for keeping your work environment safe, clean and tidy adhering to hygiene standards and procedures.
· Be responsible to adhere to all relevant systems and procedures put in place for Health & Safety, Legal and Quality and Environmental Management.
· Ensure that offices, toilets, canteens, meeting rooms, locker rooms, corridors, reception areas, production areas where applicable etc. are kept clean and tidy.
· Ensure fridges are cleaned regularly and remove any out of date food, milk etc.
· Descale Company kettles and urns periodically as required.
· Ensure that desks, cabinets, tables are dusted remaining free from any debris.
· Ensure that bins are emptied regularly and that waste is disposed of accordingly.
· Clean windowsills and insides of windows and wipe blinds on a monthly basis.
· Wash/dry any surplus dishes/pots etc. left in kitchen areas.
· Maintain cleaning stocks.
· Cover other Hygiene Operatives in periods of absence, holidays etc. (including other sites)
· Hospitality preparation/cleaning as required.
· Water plants situated internally in offices, meeting rooms etc.
· Assist in cleaning duties at Company houses including the MD house as and when required.
· Co-operate fully with the company regarding all H&S matters and be aware of the importance of complying with H&S Policy to ensure a safe workplace and maintain the integrity of the environment (See P-HS
· You may be required to train other colleagues as and when requested.
· Any additional work identified as necessary for the smooth operation of the role and the business.
