Reporting directly to the CEO, youll play a pivotal role in delivering accurate and timely management reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and improving financial processes.
Management Accountant Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis
Assist with annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles
Deliver insightful financial analysis to support operational and strategic decisions
Monitor financial performance against KPIs and business targets
Maintain and enhance financial controls, ensuring compliance with policies and standards
Support statutory audit and external reporting processes
Review and optimise internal reporting tools and dashboards
Partner with operational and commercial teams including product, marketing, and sales
Assist with cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and cost analysis
Drive finance system improvements and automation initiatives
Management Accountant Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or finalist with relevant experience
35 years experience in a finance role, ideally within management accounting
Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
Ability to present complex data clearly to non-finance stakeholders
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong communication and collaborative approach
Desirable:
Experience in travel, hospitality, or leisure industry
Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems and reporting tools
Knowledge of VAT and compliance in multi-entity or cross-border environments
