The HR Administrator Apprentice will support the People Team with the day‑to‑day administration of HR processes while working towards a recognised HR apprenticeship qualification. This role is ideal for someone looking to begin a career in HR within a fast‑paced, people‑focused professional services environment.
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands‑on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
HR Administration & Support
* Assist with all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including starters, changes, and leavers
* Prepare employment contracts, offer letters and onboarding documentation
* Support induction processes to ensure new starters feel welcomed and fully supported
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date employee records and HR systems
* Assist with the coordination of probation reviews and performance reviews
Recruitment Support
* Support the recruitment process, including advert posting, CV administration and interview scheduling
* Coordinate pre‑employment checks and right‑to‑work documentation
* Communicate professionally with candidates and hiring managers
Training & Development
* Support the coordination of internal training, apprenticeships and development programmes
* Maintain training records and learning documentation
* Assist with booking training sessions and liaising with external training providers
HR Projects & Engagement
* Support HR initiatives focused on employee engagement, wellbeing and culture
* Assist with staff communications, events, and rewards initiatives
* Help gather feedback and support continuous improvement across HR processes
Compliance & Best Practice
* Assist with maintaining HR policies, procedures, and compliance documentation
* Ensure confidentiality and professionalism is maintained at all times
* Support the People Team with ad‑hoc HR administration and projects as required
Training
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
Your training course: HR support - Equal to Level 3 (A level)
