As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for an Assistant Company Secretary to join our team at Cowick to support the Deputy Company Secretary and Company Secretary across a broad range of governance activities, including leading the administration of the Company’s share plans, Board and Committee support, Annual Report, AGM and regulatory compliance. The role will play a critical part in the effective delivery of the annual corporate cycle and to drive the continual improvement of governance systems and processes, leveraging digital tools and emerging technologies.

1. Relevant professional qualification such as qualified member of the Chartered Governance Institute, lawyer or accountant.
2. Proven experience as an Assistant Company Secretary or Company Secretarial Assistant within a PLC environment, ideally operating on a global basis.
3. Demonstrable experience of share plan administration in a global environment.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the enthusiasm and confidence to deal with senior leadership.
5. Strong organisational skills with ability to work under pressure and prioritise competing demands.
6. Collaborative, curious and solutions focused.
7. Tech savvy with an interest in using technology and AI to improve processes.
What You’ll Be Doing:

8. Leading the administration and annual cycle of the Company’s share plans
9. Act as Secretary to a selected Board Committee and provide support for Board and Committee meetings
10. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including UK listing rules and MAR
11. Support the delivery of the Annual Report and the AGM
