We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Shunter/ Driver (CAT CE) to join the team. Hours: Shifts across Monday to Sunday, start times from 13:00pm Pay Rate: £15.11 per hour PAYE Location: Sheffield, S9 Job Type : Temp to perm after 12 weeks The role:. Delivering palletised parcel to sub-depots and collection units. Driver will be required to unload and load the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck Perform shunting of trailers within the yard to ensure efficient operations. Safely maneuver vehicles in tight and busy spaces. Conduct pre and post operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures. Coordinate with the yard and dispatch teams to maintain seamless workflow. Report any defects or issues promptly to the maintenance team. Maintain accurate records of shunting activities and vehicle movements. Assist with other yard duties as needed. Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category CE).. Experience required, especially reversing Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only) Full understanding of WTD legislation.
