We are currently working with an FMCG machinery manufacturing business in the Rossendale area who are looking for a Contract Mechanical Design Engineer outside IR35 to join them due to an increase in projects.
The role is hybrid, needing someone in the office 2 days a week.
You'll have strong experience with Solidworks and working with Special Purpose Machinery within an FMCG setting.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce high-quality 3D and 2D designs using SolidWorks and ensure all supporting documentation is complete.
* Develop detailed project plans, provide regular progress updates, and ensure seamless communication with all stakeholders.
* Liaise effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to maintain smooth project flow and resource allocation.
* Oversee project completion, including commissioning, testing, and documentation handover to the client.
In return you'll receive a contract outside IR35 up to £33/hr ltd.
