SEN Science Teacher – Southampton
We are specifically working with an specialist SEN School located in Southampton, Hampshire who are looking to secure the services of a lively, passionate Science Teacher. You will be responsible for the teaching, coaching and delivery of Science lessons and educational activities for the students helping pupils aged 9-19 with Autism and behavioural traits.
If you have patience, a great sense of humour, and are dedicated on improving the lives of young people, this opportunity are for you. You must have a superb understanding of the curriculum at Foundation, BTEC & GCSE Science, and have a track record of improving outcomes in the subject. You will only be working with small numbers of students at any one time, so you can really concentrate on the delivery of high-quality learning.

9. Minimum rate of pay – £24000 – 34000
10. Hours – 8:30 am – 3:30pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
11. PGCE in Secondary Science; SCITT,, or other route to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
12. Team Teach – Advantageous but not essential
13. Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference)
14. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

16. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
