Job Description
To provide efficient administrative and customer service support within the sales office, ensuring customer enquiries and orders are handled promptly and professionally. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong customer relationships and supporting daily sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and monitor the customer service inbox, responding to queries in a timely and professional manner
* Provide live chat support to customers, assisting with enquiries in real time
* Process and input customer orders accurately onto the system
* Answer incoming customer service calls and deal confidently with enquiries
* Provide general administrative support to the sales team
* Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
* Escalate complex issues to the Sales Manager where appropriate
* Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times
This role is a 9 month fixed term contract with possibility to extend to 12 months.
This is a term time only position, working 4 days per week, 8.30am - 5pm.
Qualifications
Essential:
* Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Confident telephone manner
* Comfortable managing live chat platforms and email enquiries
* Competent in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
Desirable:
* Experience in order processing
* Experience working within a sales office environment
