Job Description
The role involves providing non-medical, in-home care across areas served by Providence Companion Care. The employee should have open availability Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, and be willing to cover shifts in their area as needed. Compensation includes a $14.50/hr pay rate and a weekly $100 travel stipend, paid regardless of shifts assigned. When shifts are scheduled, employees earn the hourly rate plus the stipend.
Job Duties
* Follow all policies and procedures of Providence Companion Care.
* Respond to calls from Providence office staff within 30 minutes.
* Provide light household tasks: cleaning, laundry, dishes, errands, and meal prep.
* Assist with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and incontinence management.
* Have basic knowledge of medical conditions such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, diabetes, and hospice care.
