A rare new opportunity has arisen on the Cambridge Science Park for a self-starting, creative and collaborative Marketing and Communications professional, who thrives on creating connections and turning ideas into impact! Working as part of an experienced and enthusiastic Park Management team, this Marketing & Communications Manager will be at the heart of what makes Cambridge Science Park such a vibrant place to work, meet and innovate. Building strong relationships with the Cambridge Science Park community and its resident companies is central to this role. What you’ll be doing Delivery of marketing and communications activity, combining practical execution with an eye for thoughtful, well-planned content. Write compelling copy and edit materials for different audiences and formats. Manage all digital channels, including the website, social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.), and digital newsletters, ensuring engaging, accurate, and timely content. Coordinate email campaigns, digital communications, newsletters and community updates to occupiers, partners and investors. Produce and commission high-quality written, photographic, and video content. Manage content calendars, digital analytics, and performance reporting. Use insights to inform strategy and optimise engagement. Track marketing and communications campaign performance, reporting on key metrics and feedback. Provide stakeholders with regular updates on campaign progress, audience trends and next steps. PR and media engagement: work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for engagement and storytelling. Maintain strong relationships with local media, securing strategic and profile-raising coverage. Work closely with the Events Manager to lead, develop and measure marketing campaigns for Park events and community programmes, and support the planning and running of events where needed. Support the adoption of new marketing tools, channels and methods to improve reach, effectiveness and the overall Park member experience. Ensure consistent brand identity across all marketing materials, signage, and digital platforms. Manage creative suppliers, designers, and agencies where necessary. Use and maintain systems such as the CRM and marketing automation tools. Help maintain accurate, well-targeted marketing lists. General marketing and communications administrative work (e.g. supplier set up, invoice processing). Support the wider team with day-to-day Park member enquiries and requests for support. About You For this exciting Marketing and Communications Manager, we are ideally looking for the following attributes: Essential Proven experience in marketing, communications, or digital content management, ideally within the property, professional services, science, or higher education sectors. Strong skills in copywriting, storytelling, and campaign delivery across digital and traditional channels. Experience managing social media, websites, and digital analytics platforms. Proven ability to film, edit and produce short-form video content, including reels, for social and digital channels. Confident working with creative and media partners, with strong attention to brand consistency and detail. Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic priorities with hands-on delivery. Enthusiastic, creative, and collaborative team player with a passion for science, innovation, and place-based storytelling. Desirable Specific experience dealing with C-suite audiences. Experience liaising with external agencies. Experience delivering the marketing for digital events (i.e., webinars, virtual conferences, etc.) Comfortable experimenting, learning from experience and continuously improving your approach.
