Im currently looking for an engineer to join a growing business with long:term contracts. As specialists within the industry, the role offers a variety of work and constant learning opportunities.
Roles/Responsibilities
* Carry out diagnostics, maintenance and repair on large mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment in a yard x2011;based environment.
* Oversee the upkeep, organisation and readiness of equipment, components, tooling, stock and general yard operations.
* Work on mechanical assemblies including motors, gearboxes, shafts, winches, braking systems, frames, wheels and bearings.
* Support loading and unloading of heavy equipment and assist with occasional site x2011;based work when required.
* Act as the on x2011;site technical point of contact, handling day x2011;to x2011;day engineering tasks and minor fixes to keep operations running smoothly.
What Were Looking For
* An experienced engineer from a plant, lifting equipment, agricultural, or heavy x2011;mechanical background.
* Someone comfortable working alone at times.
* A practical problem x2011;solver with the maturity and confidence to make decisions.
* Someone hands x2011;on, adaptable, and open to learning and developing new skills.
* Experience with lifting equipment would be a strong advantage.
