Our Governance & Analytics department is looking for an enthusiastic and highly analytical Senior Cost & Data Consultant to join our team on a 14 month basis. What you'll do Manage operational and capital expenditure accounts. Identify and understand spend drivers through in-depth analysis. Oversee cross-departmental Operational Budget planning process. Collaborate with stakeholders on monthly budget updates and mid-year financial plan revisions. Prepare and deliver comprehensive reporting, including KPI dashboards. Act as the point of contact for cost management for relevant internal departments. Ensure the organisation's internal cost management procedures are accurate and well maintained. Present financial updates to Senior Management when required. Oversee the update and any relevant communication of all Cost Management tools. Liaise with category managers to identify and implement cost saving potential. Provide advice and guidance for category managers on cost management topics. Managing the communication with Lidl INT counterparts Work on strategic projects with high level of autonomy and leadership as well as with high level of exposure to Board of Directors within Lidl GB. Work with main business stakeholders to identify service optimisation and value improvement opportunities. Provide support to the wider team throughout the year.
