Theatre Practitioner Role
Are you a skilled healthcare professional looking for a challenging opportunity? We are seeking an experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our team in the Theatre department.
This is a full-time role requiring 37.5 hours of work per week, with a flexible shift pattern. The successful candidate will assist the surgical team in preparing instruments, maintaining sterility, and anticipating surgeon needs. They will also support the Anaesthetist in equipment preparation, patient monitoring, airway management, and positioning.
Main Responsibilities:
□ Assist the surgical team in theatre operations
□ Support the Anaesthetist in patient care and safety
□ Maintain a clean and safe environment in the theatre
Requirements:
□ Registered Nurse (NMC) or Operating Department Practitioner (HCPC)
□ Experience in a theatre environment, specialising in scrub, anaesthetics, or recovery
□ Strong understanding of infection control, manual handling, and patient safety principles
